Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and our privacy officer

Member Pay is operated by Anthony Sylvain. Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), our privacy officer is Anthony Sylvain, reachable at legal@nextconcept.ca.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us at signup: business name, email address, preferred language.
• Information related to your Stripe account, limited to what Stripe shares with us to confirm your account can receive payments (account status). We never collect your banking, tax or identity information directly; that is handled solely by Stripe.
• Information you enter about your members or clients (name, email or phone number, amount owed) so we can send them a payment link.
• Anonymous, cookieless technical browsing data via Cloudflare Web Analytics.

3. Why we use this information

Only to: operate your account, send payment reminders and links to your members on your behalf, process payments via Stripe, inform you of your account status, and respond to support requests.

4. Who we share it with (sub-processors)

• Stripe (payment processing): your members' payment information, your merchant account status.
• Cloudflare (hosting, database, anonymous analytics).
• Resend (sending reminder and confirmation emails).
• Twilio (sending SMS reminders): coming soon, not yet active in production. This policy will be updated before activation.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your account and member information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated information at any time by writing to legal@nextconcept.ca. Deletion is carried out within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal retention obligations (notably transaction records required under tax or financial regulation, retained by Stripe under its own obligations).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to withdraw your consent to its processing, subject to legal limits. To exercise these rights, write to legal@nextconcept.ca.

7. Security

Information is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Sensitive payment information never passes through our servers; it is handled directly by Stripe.
